Youth Camp 2010

Ever since December this year, my cousins and I are so excited about this Summer Camp. We we’re like, “Omg, I can’t wait until summer!”. But then, last last week, the people behind this camp informed us that the camp will be on May 17-21, 2010. And some, no, most of my cousins can’t join. Since, I’m so bored and I can’t wait to get out of this prison cell, I told my cousin, who is also in my situation too, that we should join the camp for the sake of killing boredom. So, we went at the church Monday morning.

That’s my bag! Don’t mind the flower, I just picked that up from our altar. Teehee! And oh, btw, that’s not my only bag, I’ve got 4 bags! 1 sling bag, that bag up thurr, 1 sleeping bag (now, that’s funny, huh?), and one bag for my water and utensils.

For us to arrive to the venue of the camp, we need to ride a bus for almost 2 hours and another jeep for almost 2 hours, again. And man! It’s my first time to see people climbing up the jeep! (Because it was not a city.)

That’s my cousin, and that’s our wonderful bed! Gah, that was hell an experience!

And that’s my name tag! Oh, that name!

That’s my group! We had a game that time, it was very a fun fun fun fun yet, tiring game! But it was fun!

Oh, that cutie! There’s a story behind that picture, my cousin and I volunteered to serve for breakfast, so that we can search for… you know what I mean. Lol. And then, tadaa! Found that super cute guy! With super cute dimples! With super cute eyes! And super cute body!

Okay, so, why are we searching for… you know what I mean, again? Because before the end of camp, there’s always this what they called Banquet Night. It’s like a prom night, so you get a chance to eat dinner with your partner and sit beside him/her while listening to the message or Word of God.

So, there. Because I badly want that cute guy to be my partner, I prayed so hard! Really really hard. I asked God for a miracle.

And yes! He answered my prayer. He’s such a Great God! He listened to my prayer! <3

So, I wasn't able to sleep that night, 'cause I got what I want, I can't get over it. Haha.

Then, after that special day, we we’re tasked to walk for almost or more than 5 km! Man, that’s tiring! I almost died!

But it was worth the walk, anyway! Our destination’s heaven! Teehee.

But before we tasted heaven, we had a counseling first. I was so blessed with what our counselor taught us. Now, I’ve got a lot of verses to remember if ever I encounter problems and stuffs. Praise God!

After tasting heaven, another main event came! The Banquet Night! And that’s my outfit. It was so simple because everyone’s wearing simple outfits, I brought a dress, but I decided not to wear it ’cause they might thing I’m so stupid like yeah. Haha.

The very very very best part of my camp! Not just because he went to our room and picked me up. Not just because he was too cute that night. Not just because he’s my partner. But because it’s the first time someone gave me a rose! Oh, that sweet thaaang!

Look at us! Aren’t we cute together? He’s a year younger than me, tho!

One of the funniest yet sweetest part that night! My “kuya” talked to him and told him little stuffs about me. Yayyy!

Banquet Night, finally! We sat on the floor, ’cause it was supposed to be a korean style, and I don’t get a chance to know him more ’cause I wasn’t able to sit beside him!

Our last picture together! I was so lame. I am so lame. I don’t get a chance to get his number! He has my number, tho. BUT the problem is, I think I typed down a wrong number in his cellphone! Now, tell me, I’m stupid.

Lastly, the last night. We didn’t sleep because, it was the last night, and it was my first time to laugh for 3 hours straight!

I really really want to thank the Lord for giving me the chance to join this camp! It really touched something in me. Right here… *pointing my chest*. (Doing the Finn thing. Haha.) So, yeah, that’s it. I can’t wait for the next camp! Teehee. Hopes he joins too.
